What is Burp decoder?
Burp decoder transforms encoded strings (url, html, base-64, ASCII-hex, hex, octal, binary, gzip) into hash (SHA-256, SH1-512, SHA, SHA-384, MD5, MD2) in plain text and vice versa. The tool features an intelligent recognition of encoding formats.
How to use Burp Decoder?
| From the tab "target > site map", select a query containing encoded data (eg authentication information by htaccess). |

| Select the portion of text to be deciphered, then from the dropdown list "decode as", select the proper decoding (base64 here) to see the decoded text. |
